Sarah Vick joins Wilderness board

Wilderness has appointed Sarah Vick, the former chief of staff at The Panoply and group managing director at Reading Room, as chair.

With over 20 years’ experience in global leadership roles at digital agencies; Vick will be in charge of supporting the founder & CEO along with other members of the board to continue the agency’s rapid growth

She will be supporting the senior team at Wilderness across its expanding roster of clients including SKY, HBO, Direct Line, Warner Bros, NBC Universal, Intersport, BBC Studios, and Discovery Network.

Wilderness has seen 25% year-on-year growth, despite Covid, won five major clients since lockdown and has grown its staff numbers by 20% in the same time frame.

Vick completes the board leadership team line up at Wilderness, headed by Tom Jarvis (founder & CEO), alongside Jamie Maple (managing director), Tilly Morgan (operations & people director), and Meredith Mogensen (business advisor & non-exec director).

Vick was formerly chief of staff at The Panoply, where her role focused on providing governance and growth-support as the business undertook an IPO and ten acquisitions in under two years.

In 2015 Vick was Group Managing Director and board member at digital agency Reading Room. She joined the agency in 2002 as Strategy Director working her way up the ranks to CEO of Reading Room in Australia and then group managing director in the UK. She oversaw the growth of the business to 250 people globally before it was sold in 2015.

In addition to her leadership advisory work, Vick sits on the commercial advisory committee at Ravensbourne University. She also runs start-up Grandnanny, a business connecting working families and older neighbors providing reliable childcare and meaningful employment in local communities.
